Dear Parents/Guardians:

To conclude our novel study of the Everest book series by Gordon Korman, Team Ascent students will be viewing the movie Everest, rated PG 13 on Friday, June 16th. The purpose of viewing this film, which is based on a true story, will be to enhance student understanding of the struggles faced while climbing at high altitudes in treacherous weather and to provide a story to compare and contrast our novel with.
